Barcelona outcast Ousmane Dembele is reportedly putting in extra training sessions in an attempt to win back a place in Ronald Koeman's side.

Ousmane Dembele has reportedly taken part in individual training sessions at Barcelona to win over boss Ronald Koeman after his move to Manchester United fell through.

The France international was a rumoured deadline-day target for United earlier this week, but a move failed to materialise ahead of Monday's deadline.

United have been tipped to make a fresh approach for Dembele next year, while Juventus have also been credited with an interest, though for now he remains at Camp Nou for at least the next two months.

Koeman supposedly deems the 23-year-old surplus to requirements, despite failing to bring in Memphis Depay from Lyon in an underwhelming transfer window.

Spanish outlet Sport suggests that Dembele is desperate to change Koeman's mind, though, by putting in extra sessions on the training field on his own during the international break.

Dembele may now be in contention for Barca's first game back after the two-week break, which is a trip to Getafe on October 17.
