Lionel Messi has admitted that he "would love" his Argentina teammate Gonzalo Higuain to join him at Barcelona.
Napoli striker Higuain recently admitted that was "flattered" by the links, and the Barca forward has claimed that he wants to see his compatriot make the switch to Camp Nou this summer.
"I would love Higuain to come to Barca," Messi told reporters. "He'd bring a lot to us. But my head is with the World Cup today."
The four-time Ballon d'Or winner was on target as La Albiceleste beat Bosnia-Herzegovina 2-1 on Sunday evening.
