Neymar has reportedly told chiefs at Paris Saint-Germain that he will never play for the club again as the Brazilian seeks to force a move away from the Parc des Princes.
The forward, who joined PSG for £198m in 2017, has made it clear that he wants to leave following a difficult 2018-19 campaign under Thomas Tuchel.
A return to Barcelona has been suggested, but the Ligue 1 champions have told Neymar that he will not be granted a move away this summer.
According to SPORT, PSG's stance has forced Neymar to take drastic action by outright refusing to play for the club, who play Rennes in the Trophee des Champions on Saturday.
Barcelona are keen on bringing Neymar back to the Camp Nou this summer, and have reportedly even proposed the idea of a deal involving Philippe Coutinho going the other way.
However, according to more recent reports, the probability of the two clubs striking a deal before the transfer window closes is very unlikely.
