Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic is reportedly ready to snub a move to the Premier League in favour of pursuing a switch to Serie A at the end of the 2018-19 campaign.
Rakitic was linked with a move away from Barcelona last summer off the back of playing a key role in Croatia's progression to the final of the 2018 World Cup.
The 30-year-old is believed to want an improvement on his current deal, which expires in the summer of 2021.
The midfielder's agent, Arturo Canales, recently claimed that his client would not be leaving Camp Nou at the end of the season.
However, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Rakitic is seriously considering his future amid interest from Inter Milan, who have the edge over the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea as the Croatian wants to play in Serie A.
Rakitic has scored four times and contributed six assists in 33 appearances for the Catalan giants this season.
