Udinese have denied Spanish media reports claiming that the Italian side have reached a deal with Barcelona for Alexis Sanchez.
Franco Soldati, Udinese president, said that the club had not even met with Barca to discuss a potential deal. "Regarding reports of a possible transfer of Chilean striker Alexis Sanchez to FC Barcelona, I would like to point out that they are not true," he said this morning.
"No agreement has been reached between Udinese and Barcelona for the transfer of this player. Moreover, no meeting has been scheduled between the two clubs to discuss such transfer.''
The 22-year-old Chilean striker is also being sought by Man Utd, Chelsea and Man City, although City have reportedly been informed that Sanchez does not want to move to Eastlands.
According to The Mirror today, Udinese have upped the price on Sanchez to £30 million.
