Barcelona boss Quique Setien has suggested that Ivan Rakitic still has a future at Camp Nou.
Since last summer, the Croatia international has been linked with a move away from the Catalan giants having dropped down the pecking order in midfield.
However, despite more than half of his outings in La Liga and the Champions League coming from the substitutes' bench this season, Rakitic is still highly regarded by Setien.
Speaking to El Larguero, Setien said: "I have no information that Rakitic wants to leave the club and he has not transmitted that to me. And with me he has played a lot and can continue doing it.
"I am happy with his performances and have nothing to say. We have to wait to see what happens and if he wants to leave or not. And if I have to say it, the time will come."
Rakitic has just over a year remaining on his contract with the Spanish outfit.
