Valencia will reportedly prepare a fresh approach for unwanted Barcelona midfielder Rafinha Alcantara this summer.
The Brazilian, who came up through Barcelona's youth system, spent the 2017-18 campaign on loan at Inter Milan and only managed eight appearances in all competitions under Ernesto Valverde last season.
Barcelona are determined to raise funds this summer for the return of Neymar, who is unsettled at Paris Saint-Germain, and reportedly plan to offload at least four players in order to get the deal done.
According to Sport, the La Liga side will launch an approach for the 26-year-old once the transfer of Maxi Gomez from Celta Vigo is completed.
Barcelona have demanded €15m (£13.4m), but Valencia would prefer a deal structured around how often Rafinha plays on account of the midfielder's recent injury record.
The two clubs have already done business this summer, completing a straight swap deal involving goalkeepers Jasper Cillessen and Neto.
