Sergio Busquets is a doubt for Spain's 2014 World Cup qualifier against Finland this week.
It is believed that the Barcelona midfielder suffered a thigh injury in the latter stages of his side's 3-2 victory over Valencia at the Mestalla at the weekend.
The Spaniard did complete the 90 minutes, but according to reports in Spain, he will undergo medical tests on Monday to determine the exact nature of the injury.
Fellow midfielders Xabi Alonso, Javi Martinez and Thiago Alcantara are already unavailable for the meeting in Helsinki on Friday.
