Barnsley manager Danny Wilson has praised his players for their "ambitious" effort in the second half at the DW Stadium.
The Tykes, who lost 2-0 against Wigan Athletic tonight, conceded twice in the opening 45 minutes, but put in a resolute effort following the interval.
"The two halves were chalk and cheese," Wilson told reporters following the Championship clash. "Second half - they've not had a shot on goal. We didn't go under. We were ambitious after the break but Wigan have Premier League players and the damage was done."
The defeat ensures Barnsley remain in the relegation zone.
