Championship club Barnsley have reportedly signed veteran striker Marlon Harewood.
The 32-year-old had spent most of the summer on trial with Barnsley's Yorkshire rivals Sheffield Wednesday.
However, a permanent switch failed to materialise, which alerted Barnsley boss Keith Hill, according to Sky Sports News.
It will be the second time that the centre-forward has featured for the Tykes, having spent time on loan at Oakwell in 2010.
Harewood, who is said to have signed a one-year deal, is expected to make his debut during Saturday's league encounter against Middlesbrough.
