Experienced forward Leroy Lita has joined Barnsley on a one-year contract.
The news was confirmed on the club's Twitter page shortly before 1pm this afternoon, with the striker set to wear number 33 for the League One outfit.
The 29-year-old, who left Swansea City at the end of last season, had been strongly linked with a move to Ipswich Town and indeed went on trial with the club.
However, a contract could not be agreed and a move to Oakwell has now been completed.
