Bastia goalkeeper Mickael Landreau has been ruled out for five weeks through injury.
The veteran stopper damaged his calf during his side's 3-0 defeat to Marseille last weekend, and scans have now revealed the extent of the problem.
Jean-Louis Leca, who stepped in to replace Landreau for last night's 3-1 win over Toulouse, will be handed an extended stay between the Bastia sticks.
Landreau will miss key league fixtures against Monaco and Paris Saint-Germain, as well as France's upcoming international friendly against the Netherlands.
