Eduardo scored an 83rd-minute equaliser to earn Ajaccio a 1-1 draw against Bastia at the Stade Francois Coty in Ligue 1.
Florian Raspentino had given Bastia the lead but Eduardo stole a point for the hosts, despite being down to 10 men after Joshua Nadeau was sent off.
It was the away side who made the better start, and went ahead in the ninth minute. Ryad Boudebouz stung the palms of Guillermo Ochoa from range, who pushed the ball into the path of Raspentino on the left of the box. The striker still had a lot to do, but managed to control the ball on the right of the six-yard box before drilling a low shot past Ochoa at the near post for the opener.
Things got worse for the home side with half-an-hour left to play when Nadeau was shown a straight-red card for raising a high foot when challenging Adama Ba.
However, despite their disadvantage, Ajaccio got themselves level just seven minutes from time. Eduardo latched onto a defence-splitting through-ball before confidently dinking the ball over the head of the onrushing Mickael Landreau, who was making his 603rd Ligue 1 appearance to set a new record, to equalise for the hosts and spoil the goalkeeper's big night.
The point leaves Ajaccio 19th in the table, while Bastia are eighth.
