Bastia and Toulouse have played out a goalless draw at Stade Armand Cesari in Ligue 1.
Chances were few and far between in the opening minutes of the contest, with Anthony Modeste's shot from close range for the hosts the first real opportunity for either side.
That allowed Bastia to asset themselves on the game, Wahbi Khazri and Modeste having chances in quick succession.
Modeste had another opportunity from close range in the 24th minute but he squandered it away, and Jerome Rothen did no better with his shot from outside the box a minute later.
Franck Tabanou could have given Toulouse the lead against the run of play in the 28th minute when he headed Adrien Regattin's cross towards goal, but his effort went narrowly wide.
That started a good spell for Toulouse but did not yield any goal for the visitors, who once again struggled in the opening exchanges of the second period.
Bastia also failed to craft clear-cut chances as the second half progressed, Rothen watching his attempt from distance saved by Ali Ahamada on 66 minutes.
