Bastia have registered a narrow 1-0 victory over Ajaccio at home in an ill-tempered Ligue 1 encounter.
A total of five players were sent off, with the Corsican derby ending in a massive brawl.
In what was a fairly enjoyable match, the only goal came on 47 minutes.
Gilles Cioni whipped in a cross and Toifilou Maoulida headed it home off the post from the centre of the Ajaccio penalty box.
Things started to turn ugly from the 80-minute mark when Ajaccio defender Matthieu Chalme was dismissed for a second bookable offence.
Then in the second minute of injury time Dennis Oliech was sent off for a bad challenge on goalkeeper Mickaël Landreau.
That sparked a fight between the two sets of players that ended with Ajaccio losing their third player following Benjamin Andre's red card and Bastia finishing the contest with nine men as Jerome Rothen and Florian Thauvin were punished with straight reds for their involvement in the brawl.
