Bayer Leverkusen head coach Sami Hyypia has admitted that his side are suffering from a problem with their mentality as their poor run of form in the second half of the season continues.
Werkself have picked up just seven points since the second half of the Bundesliga season began, with the 3-2 defeat to Hoffenheim on Saturday leaving them close to slipping outside the top four.
"I think it's becoming more of a mental issue than anything else," Bundesliga.com quotes Hyypia as saying. "Sometimes after a defeat, it's better if you can work on certain things on the training ground but, in this instance, I'm glad that we're playing again on Wednesday.
"[Augsburg are] incredibly hard-working and played very well recently. We have to make sure we forget about the past and look forward."
Leverkusen's last league win was on February 7.
