Germany take on France in the World Cup this evening, but at the club level there is still plenty of action going on. With rumours of arrivals, departures and done deals always ongoing the Bundesliga is not sleeping.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest talk from Germany's top flight.

Augsburg

Shawn Parker, who only had limited game time last season for Mainz 05, has this week completed a switch to Augsburg on a four-year deal for an undisclosed fee believed to be in the region of £1.6m

They have also on Thursday completed the signing of another striker - Serbian Nikola Djurdjic has joined the club on a three-year deal from Greuther Furth.

Bayer Leverkusen

The biggest news of the week for the club is that Emre Can has completed his long-awaited move to Premier League side Liverpool for a fee thought to be in the region of £10m.

They have also finally completed their chase for Hamburger SV attacking midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu, with the clubs reportedly agreeing a fee for the player. This was thought to be £11.5m and a five-year deal, and the news was made official on Friday morning.

Bayern Munich

Recent reports have claimed that midfielder Toni Kroos was set to join Real Madrid when he comes back from World Cup duty with Germany. The player himself has moved to deny the claims, but fell short of committing his future to Bayern.

In terms of players coming in, coach Pep Guardiola is believed to be keen to bring in Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal, although there are concerns over his injury record, while the Costa Rica goalkeeper Keylor Navas has emerged as a possible target.

Borussia Dortmund

The German runners-up look to have a fight on their hands if they want to keep star centre-back Mats Hummels at the club, as Premier League side Manchester United have reportedly made him their number one target to sign in the transfer window. The English team will test the water with an opening £20m bid.

They have also moved to deny speculation that there have been bids for forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, and maintain the stance that he will not be sold this summer, whatever any potential offer might be.

Borussia Monchengladbach

Gladbach are one of the three Bundesliga sides thought to be bidding to take Chelsea's Thorgan Hazard on loan for the season, and some reports have said that they are in pole position having agreed a deal with the Premier League club.

Luuk de Jong's future remains unclear, with the latest team to show an interest being PSV Eindhoven from his home country. The striker is not thought to be keen on a return to the Netherlands yet, however, but a permanent move to Newcastle United does not look likely currently.

Eintracht Frankfurt

Former Greuther Furth player Stephan Schrock rejoined the club this week from Frankfurt on a four-year deal for an undisclosed fee. They also lost another central midfielder, as Sebastian Rode completed a move to Bayern Munich upon the expiry of his contract.

It has been fairly quiet on the players in front at the club, although Aleksandar Ignjovski did complete the switch to them from Werder Bremen earlier in the week.

FC Koln

Bundesliga newcomers Koln have this week agreed terms with their head coach Peter Stoger on a new deal, and he has extended his contract by a further two years. After their early transfer business, however, things have gone fairly quiet on the new player front.

Freiburg

The club last week banned any possible transfer for Matthias Ginter, who said that he was happy at the club. However, they have now gone back on this and have lifted the ban, which could mean that they have received a substantial bid for the player. A £10m offer from Borussia Dortmund has been discussed in the German press, but nothing is concrete.

Hamburger SV

Attacking midfielder Calhanoglu has now completed a move to Bayer Leverkusen, with an £11.5m fee reportedly agreed between the two clubs. The player has signed a five-year deal with his new club.

Elsewhere, the off-and-on-again move for Pierre-Michel Lasogga looks to be off once more, with the club in financial difficulty and reportedly unable to match Hertha Berlin's asking price. The Calhanoglu money could go towards any possible deal, however.

Hannover

Rumours surfaced on Thursday that Sebastien Pocognoli was absent from Hannover training, which has led to suggestions that a bid has come in for him. Aston Villa in the Premier League were thought to be interested, but there has been no official news as yet.

Vladimir Rankovic, for whom a deal was agreed in January, has arrived at the club following the expiry of his contract with Bayern Munich.

Hertha Berlin

The Hamburg move for Lasogga was back on but is now off again, with the buying club struggling to meet the asking price. Elsewhere, Hertha finally wrapped up the signing of Dortmund's Julian Schieber, with the striker joining for £2m.

Hoffenheim

The club managed to pull off one of the surprise transfers of the summer in the past week, with Schalke 04 striker Adam Szalai making the move for a reported £5.2m.

The Parma permanent move for Afriyie Acquah happened quickly, and he completed the switch this week for an undisclosed fee having been at the club last season on loan.

Mainz 05

Striker Parker left the club to join Augsburg this week in the only confirmed out for the club in recent days. Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting's performances for Cameroon in the World Cup have led to speculation over his future, with a Schalke move to replace Szalai a possibility.

They have bolstered their ranks as well this week with the signing of Daniel Brosinski from Greuther Furth, who is one of the three players to leave the 2. Bundesliga club in the week.

Schalke 04

The club surprisingly let Szalai leave to join Hoffenheim in the week, but having done so frees up room for their potential interest in Choupo-Moting from Mainz.

There has been reported interest in Klaas-Jan Huntelaar from Liverpool, and the player is thought to be keen to discuss his future upon his return from the World Cup.

Stuttgart

The big move this week for Stuttgart was the departure of pacey winger Ibrahima Traore, who left to join Gladbach.

Wolfsburg

The future of Luiz Gustavo continues to be speculated upon, with the latest being that Real Madrid are planning to bid up to £28m for his services.

They are also planning moves of their own with Romelu Lukaku and Alvaro Morata high on their transfer list, and the club also ruled out the possibility of Ricardo Rodriguez leaving this summer.
