Bayern Munich are reportedly closing in on a deal for Espanyol midfielder Marc Roca.
The 22-year-old, who came through the youth system at Espanyol, has made 79 first-team appearances for his Catalan club in all competitions.
Earlier this summer, it was reported that Bayern were interested in a swoop for the Spaniard, who has another three years left to run on his contract with Periquitos.
According to L'Equipe, the Bundesliga champions have now agreed to activate the midfielder's £36m release clause, while personal terms are not expected to be an issue.
The report claims that Roca, who has turned out on seven occasions for Spain's Under-21 side, will be handed a five-year contract at the Allianz Arena.
Bayern will be looking for their first win of the 2019-20 Bundesliga campaign when they travel to Schalke 04 on Saturday.
