Schalke 04 winger Jefferson Farfan has revealed that he turned down the chance to sign for Bayern Munich and Juventus.
The 27-year-old, who has made 109 appearances for the club, recently signed a new four-year deal with the Bundesliga outfit, and he has admitted that Schalke are his 'dream' club.
"We spoke often with Bayern. Such interest made me very happy, of course. I have my dreams and I will achieve them at Schalke. Juventus are a great club, but it's a different football that they play there. I would have had to reinvent myself had I gone there. Schalke are more attractive overall than Juventus," the Peruvian told Bild.
Farfan has suffered with injury problems this season, limiting him to just 23 appearances.
