Mario Mandzukic has revealed that his decision to join Bayern Munich this summer was an easy one to make.
The Croatian striker has moved to the Allianz Arena from Bundesliga rivals Wolfsburg for an undisclosed fee.
Reflecting on his switch, the 26-year-old admitted that he can't wait to begin his career as a Bayern player.
"I had other offers, but I want to win the title with Bayern. That is why you play football. The decision was not difficult," Mandzukic told Goal.com. "I cannot wait to finally get started. I must perform well in training and will use all my skills to play regularly.
"I think I'm going to be on the bench sometimes, but I will assert myself again. I look forward to playing alongside Claudio Pizarro and Mario Gomez - it will make me an even better player.
"I always want the ball and want to play. The only thing that matters to me is that we win. I have no idea how many goals I'll score."
Mandzukic scored three goals for his country at Euro 2012.
