Everton are weighing up a move for Bayern Munich defender Dante, according to a report.

Everton are reportedly considering a move for Bayern Munich defender Dante.

The 31-year-old, who is thought to be available for transfer, has previously been linked with Manchester United.

According to Bild, Everton boss Roberto Martinez is looking for defensive reinforcements and has targeted Dante, who is valued at £6.4m.

Bundesliga sides Bayer Leverkusen and Borussia Monchengladbach are also said to be keen on the Brazilian international.

Dante has made 117 appearances for Bayern since joining from Monchengladbach in 2012.
