Bayern Munich are reportedly interested in a possible summer swoop for Atalanta BC attacker Ademola Lookman.
The 26-year-old enjoyed a productive season in Serie A, finding the net on 11 occasions and providing seven assists for teammates across 31 league appearances.
Despite glowing performances domestically, it was Lookman's displays on the continental stage that stole the headlines, with the former Everton man helping Atalanta to their first-ever European trophy.
Adding to the two goals that he had already bagged in the earlier stages, the attacker netted a sensational hat-trick in the final of the Europa League in Dublin, firing his side to a 3-0 success over previously-unbeaten Bayer Leverkusen.
Since making the switch from Bundesliga outfit RB Leipzig to the Italians during the summer of 2022, Lookman has scored 32 times in 78 matches across all competitions.
After impressing massively, the ex-Fulham loanee has attracted interest serious interest from major clubs across the continent, according to the Daily Mail.
The report claims that both Serie A powerhouses Juventus and Bavarian giants Bayern Munich are keeping a close eye on Lookman ahead of the new campaign.
It is understood that teams in the Premier League are also huge admirers of the 26-year-old, who has experience in England at Charlton Athletic, Everton, Fulham and Leicester City.
With his current terms expiring in 2026, Lookman is said to be content at Atalanta, but is keeping his options open ahead of pre-season training.
Wolves 'verbally agree' Strand Larsen deal
Although a move to the Premier League remains in doubt for Lookman due to the host of top sides on the continent pursuing his services, it appears that the English top flight will be welcoming a new arrival in the near future.
As reported by transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, Wolverhampton Wanderers are closing in on the signing of Celta Vigo striker Jorgen Strand Larsen.
It is believed that the Black Country outfit and Celta have "verbally agreed" to a deal for the 24-year-old, who scored 13 times in 37 La Liga contests during 2023-24.
Strand Larsen has relative international pedigree having featured on 14 occasions for Norway at a senior level, appearing in a friendly against Kosovo earlier this month.
The final hurdle in a move to the West Midlands for the 24-year-old are personal terms, however it is said that a deal remains extremely close to completion.
Wolves are set to pay €30m (£25.4m) for the services of Larsen, who has been a regular appearance maker for Celta Vigo since joining from Groningen in 2022.
Huddersfield Town 'close' to May signing
Heading down the English football system, Football Insider are reporting that Huddersfield Town are close to making a key signing in the race for League One promotion.
The Terriers have supposedly agreed a £750,000 deal for Charlton Athletic striker Alfie May, who is a severe threat in the third tier of England.
