Bayern Munich defender Daniel van Buyten has suggested that he would be open to the idea of joining French outfit Monaco at the end of the season.
The Belgian, who has been a key member of the club's first team this season, is out of contract at the end of the current campaign.
It is understood that Bayern could offer the centre-back a new deal, but the 35-year-old has responded to possible interest from Monaco.
"Why not return to France? There are interesting options like Monaco," he told Telefoot.
Van Buyten has previously played for Marseille.
