Belarus and Macedonia have finished their Euro 2016 qualifying campaign by playing out a goalless draw in Borisov.
Macedonia started the evening with just three points from their nine games in Group C, but they were bright in the early stages of the game, with Aleksandar Trajkovski firing just over after being gifted space on the edge of the box.
Belarus threatened to take the lead in spectacular fashion when Renan Bressan unleashed a long-range strike to force Johan Davidsen into an impressive save.
As the first half progressed, it was the home side who started to look more dangerous in attacking areas, but they wasted a great chance before the break when Pavel Nekhajchik headed just wide from Igor Stasevich's inviting cross.
The game continued to be played in open fashion when the two sides returned for the second half, with Mikhail Gordeychuk heading over after some poor marking from Macedonia offered him space.
Belarus stepped up the tempo to cause more problems for the Macedonian defence, and they were left frustrated once again when Sergei Politevich rattled the crossbar with a curling effort.
As both sides searched for the win, Belarus created one more clear opportunity when Nikolai Signevich headed over before the draw was confirmed.
