Belenenses have claimed their first win of the Primeira Liga season after securing a 2-0 victory against Moreirense in Monday's clash at the Estadio do Restelo.
The visitors were quickest off the starting blocks, with Victor Gomes bearing down on goal and forcing a save from Hugo Ventura.
After just nine minutes played, however, the hosts went on to take the lead when Luis Leal collected Carlos Martins's ball and slotted home.
Belenenses then extended their advantage midway through the first half through Miguel Rosa, who finished off a good counter-attacking team move.
Martins fluffed a chance to extend his side's lead from the spot in the second half, before a floodlight failure halted the game for around 15 minutes, but ultimately the hosts claimed all three points with ease.
