Colombia have defeated Belgium 2-0 in their friendly at the King Baudouin Stadium this evening.
Christian Benteke came within inches of giving the hosts an early lead when he headed a cross from Thomas Meunier wide.
Colombia nearly scored from their first attack of the match but Radamel Falcao was denied by Simon Mignolet.
As the game approached half time, Benteke wasted another opening when he headed Marouane Fellaini's cross from close range over the bar
Minutes into the second half, the visitors took the lead. Falcao latched on to a James Rodriguez pass, before keeping his composure to round the keeper and slide the ball into an empty net.
Colombia doubled their lead midway through the half. Amaranto Perea headed a long ball from Rodriguez back across the box to Victor Ibarbo, who took a touch before firing a strike past Mignolet.
The hosts came close to pulling a goal back through Fellaini, who fired against the post from close range before Dries Mertens saw his fierce effort come back off the woodwork.
Belgium were nearly caught out for a third time, as Jackson Martinez found himself through on goal with just the keeper to beat, but Mignolet was out quickly to deny him.
In the final minute Kevin Mirallas latched on to the end of a long pass and poked the ball goalwards, but Faryd Mondragon turned his effort round the post to seal the win for his side.
