Belgium attacker Eden Hazard has claimed that it is his "time to shine", with Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo both exiting the 2018 World Cup in the round of 16.
Messi's Argentina side lost 4-3 to France on Saturday afternoon before Ronaldo's Portugal suffered a 2-1 defeat to Uruguay in the first knockout games of this summer's competition.
Belgium will face Japan in their last-16 clash on Monday night, and Chelsea attacker Hazard is now looking to grab the limelight.
"Ronaldo and Messi are not in the World Cup anymore so now it's time to shine. I just want to go through to the quarters and the semis," Hazard told reporters.
Belgium secured first position in Group G - avoiding Colombia in the round of 16 in the process - with a 1-0 win over England on Thursday night.
