Benfica have reportedly moved closer to securing a reunion with midfielder Ramires.
The Brazil international enjoyed a successful period at the Portuguese giants before linking up with Chelsea in 2010, but the past two-and-a-half seasons have been spent in China with Jiangsu Suning.
However, according to A Bola, Benfica have made their move to be reunited with the 31-year-old on a loan deal for the rest of the campaign.
The report claims that Ramires - who is allegedly undergoing a medical with Benfica on Tuesday - could complete a permanent switch next summer.
Ramires netted five times in 42 appearances during his one year at Estadio da Luz in 2009-10.
