Real Betis came from behind three times to beat Real Valladolid 4-3 in their La Liga clash this evening, adding to the visitors' relegation woes.
The away side took the lead in the first minute of the game when Antonio Rukavina raided down the flank and crossed for Javi Guerra, who made no mistake heading past Antonio Adan.
Betis drew level almost immediately as Jorge Molina teed up Braian Rodriguez inside the penalty area, and he fired the ball past Jaime into the bottom corner of the net.
Valladolid threatened to take the lead again just before the break when Rukavina tried to go for goal this time, but his effort from outside the box was well saved by Adan.
After half time, the visitors did retake the lead when Carlos Pena headed home from a corner after Marc Valiente had won the initial flick-on at the near post.
However, the home side came back again and found an equaliser when Ruben Castro found space down the right and hit a pinpoint cross for Molina to head past Jaime from close range.
Just five minutes later, Valladolid were given the opportunity to take the lead when Adan brought down Daniel Larsson inside the box. Guerra took the spot kick and fired the ball past the keeper to hand Real the advantage.
Yet again, the home side came back at the visitors and managed to draw level when Castro found the net with a neat finish after Juanfran found him with a through-ball inside the box.
The game looked to be heading for a draw until Betis won a free kick just outside the penalty area in stoppage time. Juanfran stood over the ball and curled the free kick past Jaime into the top corner to seal a dramatic win for the hosts.
