Real Betis have reportedly had an offer accepted by Sunderland for the services of Alfred N'Diaye.
The 24-year-old arrived at the Stadium of Light in January 2013 and initially made an impression. However, he soon fell out of favour with then manager Paolo Di Canio and was sent on loan to Turkish side Eskisehirspor.
Then, 12 months after his arrival, N'Diaye was loaned to Betis, where despite their relegation from La Liga, he made enough of impact for the club to have made an offer to sign him on a permanent basis, according to a report in Spain.
It is believed that Betis have agreed to pay the Black Cats £1.2m, but personal terms between the player and the Spanish club still need to be finalised.
