Birmingham City owner Carson Yeung has been refused entry to the UK to watch his side take on Braga in the Europa League on Thursday.
The 51-year-old is currently contesting money laundering charges in Hong Kong after being arrested in June, and was initially given permission to fly to Britain before the decision was reversed.
The businessman's lawyer, Clive Grossman, is reported to have said it is because his client poses a flight risk.
The Blues are joined by Club Bruges and NK Maribor in Group I of the competition.
