Birmingham City boss Lee Clark has praised his players for their "resolute" display during Tuesday's win over Millwall.
The Blues earned a 3-1 victory at The New Den to move five points clear of the drop zone in the Championship table.
Having seen his team repeatedly fail to close out matches this season, Clark is pleased with how they applied themselves last night.
"Our issue this season has been, from the last 30 minutes, we have dropped 11 points from winning positions," he is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News. "We have spoken about it, when teams go behind they will come at you and you have to be resolute - and we were.
"I said at half time they would throw the kitchen sink at us and fortunately the players responded. We can take confidence from that."
Birmingham play their next match on Saturday when they travel to Charlton Athletic in the Championship.
