Birmingham City defender Neal Eardley has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a serious knee injury.
The 24-year-old, who limped off during the 1-1 draw with Ipswich Town at the weekend, ruptured his medial ligament and suffered a partial tear to his anterior cruciate ligament.
According to PA, the right-back will require surgery to correct the problem, which will rule him out for the remainder of the campaign.
Eardley joined the club on a three-year deal from Blackpool in the summer.
