Birmingham City will continue their attempt to chase down the sides in the top half of the Championship against bottom club Blackpool at St Andrew's on Wednesday night.
Gary Rowett guided his side back to winning ways on the weekend as Birmingham ended a run of eight league games without a win by beating promotion hopefuls Brentford 1-0.
The victory arrived after Birmingham had conceded four goals in successive defeats to Brighton & Hove Albion and Ipswich Town respectively, and the result leaves them in 13th spot in the table.
February proved to be another difficult month for Blackpool supporters as Lee Clark's side made it six matches without a win by slipping to a 3-1 defeat at the hands of fellow strugglers Wigan Athletic at Bloomfield Road.
Clark suggested after the game that his players showed fear in such a crucial fixture, and the optimism is starting to fade for Blackpool, who are 15 points adrift of safety.
Changes to the team are likely as Blackpool slip closer to the drop, with Nathan Delfouneso in contention to replace the injured Henry Cameron.
Charles Dunne serves the second game of his suspension, while there are still concerns over the fitness of Niall Maher, who missed the loss to Wigan with a groin strain.
Robert Tesche is set to be handed a place in the Birmingham squad following his loan move from Nottingham Forest, but Stephen Gleeson will miss out after his red card against Brentford.
