Wolverhampton Wanderers have moved out of the Championship relegation zone after defying late pressure from Birmingham City to record a 3-2 victory.
Wolves scored three goals in 17 first-half minutes to stun the home side, with Stephen Hunt opening the scoring in the 20th minute when he fired home from a tight angle.
That lead was doubled on 27 minutes when Sylvan Ebanks-Blake headed home from close range, and he netted his second just before half time from the penalty spot.
However, Birmingham began to turn the tables after the break and reduced the deficit when Wade Elliott scored a penalty after a foul by Jamie O'Hara.
The home side continued to push for another goal, with both Nikola Zigic and Wes Thomas wasting chances, and Wolves began to sit deeper as the match approached a conclusion.
The Blues netted a second in the fifth minute of added time through Elliott, but it wasn't enough to prevent Wolves from securing a crucial win.
