Birmingham City have reportedly been told to up their bid for Norwich City striker James Vaughan.
It is understood that the Blues are keen to sign the 24-year-old to aid their promotion push, but the Canaries have rejected an offer in the region of £500,000.
Norwich boss Chris Hughton will not entertain bids of less than £1m for the former Everton striker, according to The Mirror.
Vaughan made just six appearances for Norwich last season during an injury-plagued campaign.
