Birmingham City midfielder Papa Bouba Diop has revealed that he wants to stay at St Andrew's "forever".
The Senegal international's contract at the Championship club expires this week but after scoring his first goal for the club during Birmingham's 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace at the weekend, the 34-year-old has admitted that he wants to sign a new deal.
Diop told The Birmingham Mail: "I am here forever! It is fine. I am here. I don't go anywhere.
"I don't want to talk about my contract. But I am happy here, yes. They are good lads, good staff, everything is good.
"We just need to keep going and make everyone happier, the fans."
Diop only joined Birmingham on a free transfer in October.
