Blackburn Rovers manager Gary Bowyer has slammed his players for "stupid" mistakes made last night at Ipswich Town.
Rovers went down 3-1 in Suffolk to fall behind in the race for the Championship's top six and Bowyer was unhappy with the goals conceded.
"We need to stop giving goals away. It has to come down to our mentality," he told BBC Radio Lancashire.
"We need to be tougher and horrible to play against away from home like we have shown when we are at home."
Ipswich went ahead in the fourth minute through Luke Hyam after a poor clearance from Tommy Spurr before former Ipswich man Jordan Rhodes made it level at the break.
The home side were back in front moments after half time when another short clearance fell to Carlos Edwards, before Frank Nouble capitalised on a defensive mix-up to seal the win for the Blues.
"In possession and the chances we are creating, we look good. It is on our travels where we need to cut out the individual mistakes, it is stupid," added Bowyer.
Rovers are now in the bottom half of the table, five points shy of the top six.
