Leon Best has admitted that the chance to work with former Coventry City coach Steve Kean again played a huge part in his joining Blackburn Rovers.
Best completed a £3m move from Newcastle United to Ewood Park this week and has vowed to fire Rovers back to the Premier League.
"I'm delighted," Best told the club's official website. "It is a good thing for me and a new start to my career coming here.
"I've been with Steve Kean before so I know what he's about, he's shown me a lot of loyalty and he's come in for me and I'm showing some back.
"I want to come here and work with him and the new players and hopefully we'll go straight back up."
The 25-year-old striker will be hoping to make his Blackburn debut against Ipswich Town on Saturday August 18.
