Defender Matthew Kilgallon is close to agreeing a move to Blackburn Rovers, according to reports.
The centre-back was released by Sunderland at the end of the season after struggling to establish himself at the Stadium of Light.
According to Sky Sports News, Kilgallon is looking for more first-team football, and the 29-year-old is currently in advanced talks with Championship side Blackburn.
The former England Under-21 international began his career at Leeds United where he made 80 appearances, before spending three years at Sheffield United.
