Blackburn Rovers have reportedly taken AZ Alkmaar striker Denni Avdic on trial.
The 26-year-old Swede has 12 months left to run on his contract with Alkmaar.
However, according to RTV North Holland, he has been granted permission to spend some time training with the Championship club, who due to an embargo only have space in their squad for two free transfers or loan signings.
Last season Avdic spent time on loan with Heracles Almelo.
