Blackburn Rovers midfielder Ben Marshall has reportedly indicated that he is prepared to allow his contract to run out at Ewood Park.
It has previously been claimed that Wolverhampton Wanderers were keen to push through a deal for Marshall during the January transfer window, with Molineux boss Paul Lambert having worked with the player last season.
However, according to the Daily Mail, the 25-year-old is happy to remain in the North-West for the remainder of the campaign in order to assess his options during the summer.
Marshall remains a first-team regular with Rovers, with the former Leicester City man featuring 21 times since the start of August.
He has scored a total of 15 goals in 136 outings since his switch from the King Power Stadium in August 2013.
