Blackburn Rovers boss Gary Bowyer has hailed the professionalism of striker Jordan Rhodes to put speculation over his future aside to score in his side's 3-2 win over Bournemouth.
The 24-year-old has been linked with a £12m switch to Hull City, but played for Rovers in their victory at Ewood Park and netted the first goal of the afternoon to set his side on their way to three points.
Bowyer told the club's official website: "I'm delighted for Jordan Rhodes, he's made it himself and scored a fantastic goal. His professionalism, he's handled it superb."
Rovers are 10th in the Championship table after four games this season.
