Blackburn Rovers manager Gary Bowyer has reiterated that Jordan Rhodes is not for sale as the end to the transfer window draws ever nearer.
The Scottish international scored his second brace in successive games against Bolton Wanderers today, taking his Championship goal tally to four.
"When I first took the job I asked the owners about Jordan Rhodes and they said to me that Jordan wasn't for sale," Bowyer told reporters. "So as soon as 11pm comes on Monday, you'll all have to think of a different question.
"He's better than £10m. We paid near that figure for him and he's gone and done it in the Championship last season and he's a goal scorer.
"He's very important. He proved it again today with the quality of finishes he possesses. The first one was absolutely outstanding. It's not just his goal, it's his work rate."
Rovers won today's game 4-1 at Ewood Park.
