Blackpool have confirmed the signing of Tiago Gomes on a free transfer.
The 26-year-old central midfielder had been released by Hercules at the end of last season.
He made 97 league appearances for the Valencia-based team during three years at Estadio Jose Rico Perez.
Gomes is expected to make his Tangerines debut in a pre-season friendly at Wrexham on Saturday.
