West Ham United have reportedly made an offer for Sporting Lisbon midfielder Adrien Silva.
The energetic 23-year-old is a long-term transfer target of Blackburn Rovers boss Steve Kean.
However, the Hammers are confident of beating Rovers to the player's signature after submitting a bid of £1m, according the Daily Mail.
Silva was capped 14 times by Portugal at Under-21 level.
