Blackpool and Cardiff City have both been unable to break the deadlock with the scoreline still goalless after 45 minutes of their Championship clash this evening.
The visitors had the first chance on goal of the evening, but Sean Morrison could only head a free kick from Peter Whittingham inches wide of the post.
Cardiff goalkeeper David Marshall was then forced into action at the other end of the pitch when he pushed away Ishmael Miller's effort.
It was Miller again who threatened moments later, as he rose to meet a cross from David Perkins, but put his header over the bar.
Blackpool saw another chance go to waste a few minutes later when Perkins directed a strike wide from the edge of the box.
Whittingham came close for the visitors just before the break, but he fired over from a free kick as the scores stayed level at the end of the first half.
