Blackpool lead Huddersfield Town 1-0 at the halfway point of the Championship meeting between the two sides courtesy of an early strike from Ricardo Fuller.
The Seasiders got off the the ideal start when Fuller turned in David Perkins's measured pass to put them in front with just four minutes on the clock.
The hosts could have added a second seven minutes later as David Goodwillie rose high to meet Chris Basham's nod-on, but he failed to trouble Alex Smithies in the Terriers goal.
Barry Ferguson's side controlled the remainder of the first half, but they were unable to add to their goal tally before the referee blew the whistle for half time.
