Blackpool manager Paul Ince believes that four more wins will ensure the Seasiders are a Championship side next season.
Ince was named manager at Bloomfield Road on Monday and with the club languishing in mid-table, the former Blackburn Rovers boss has insisted that he will be content with retaining their status as a Championship outfit.
Ince told Sky Sports News: "To be fair, we're not going to catch Cardiff, but what we do know is that in the short-term, we've got to try and get as many points as we can.
"Once we get to 50, 52 points and get that safety net then we can start looking upwards.
"We're under no illusions about how tough this job is going to be but we have got fantastic spirit, fantastic fans and great prospects going forward."
Ince replaces Michael Appleton, who moved to Blackburn last month.
