Nikola Zigic's late goal grabbed a point for Birmingham in the battle of the play-off contenders at Bloomfield Road this afternoon.
Zigic's effort, coupled with Marlon King's opener, meant that goals from both Blackpool full-backs were not enough for a Tangerines victory.
The visitors took the lead in controversial circumstances in the 29th minute when Wade Elliott set King free - despite appearing offside the striker went on to smash the Blues ahead.
Ian Holloway's side ensured Birmingham that didn't enjoy the lead for long when left-back Stephen Crainey toe-poked home two minutes later.
Blackpool's opposite full-back Neil Eardley then put the Seasiders ahead 12 minutes into the second half, firing into the top corner from just outside the area before Zigic's late effort.
The Croatian forward snatched a point with his effort in the 87th minute following good work from Jonathan Spector.
Blackpool nudge themselves into the play-offs while Chris Hughton's Birmingham remain eighth.
